From source to peptide
Both ingredients go through controlled processing to turn the original raw material into collagen peptides for our formulas.
The raw material is cleaned and treated to extract the collagen.
Enzymes break the collagen into smaller fragments called peptides. This is what “hydrolysed” means.
The collagen peptides are heat-treated, filtered and dried before being used in our formulas.
The details matter. Temperature, pH, processing time and enzyme selection are controlled to support consistent production and ingredient quality.

Yes. Batch documentation allows both ingredients to be traced back to their raw materials. For Peptan® F, this includes the specific fish source. For FORTIGEL® B, traceability covers the journey from raw material to finished collagen ingredient.
